Purpose of the Game
The objective of Craps is very simple: Players bet on the outcome of a roll or a series of rolls in a craps game. How to Play Dice
Before you start playing, you should familiarize yourself with the layout of the table. Each letter represents a different bet on the table. Pass / Dont Pass bet
If the player placed a pass line bet (A), and a 7 or 11 comes out, they win money for their bet, but if a 2, 3, or 12 (craps) comes out the player loses the bet. The opposite applies for the don't pass line bet (B); players lose with a 7 or 11, win with a 2 or 3 and draw with a 12.
Point Number
If the outcome of the initial throw is a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, the player has a point number. The player will continue to roll the dice until that number reappears or a 7 appears. Players who make a pass line bet win if the point number comes out before 7 but lose if 7 is obtained first. For bets on the no-pass line, the situation is reversed.
Betting odds
If a point number is obtained on the initial roll, players have the option to bet multiple of their original bets (usually 3x, 4x, or 5x depending on the point number). This means that players who make pass line bets can make (bets) pass line odds bets (C) (also known as accepting the odds). line odds bets (D) (known as dropping odds). The betting odds lowers the house advantage to less than 1%, so it is well worth taking advantage of this option.
End of Round
