The rules of Video Poker are quite simple, even simpler than traditional poker. Video poker is played with 52 cards in the same Texas Hold'Em style, reaching up to 53 cards in Joker Wild. The player receives a hand with five cards and needs to make pairs, trips, quads or a higher value sequence in the game, which follow the same order as traditional poker, as you can see below:
High Card
If you don't have a straight or a pair, your hand will be defined by the highest card in your hand, which is the lowest value poker hand, and in almost all video poker versions you have no chance of winning with the high card. .
Pair
A pair is made up of two identical cards, even if they are of different suits (for example, a seven of clubs and a seven of gold make up a pair of sevens). The pair is worth more than the high card, but less than the games to follow;
Two Pairs
Above the Pair we have the Two Pairs, for example a pair of sevens and a pair of nines;
Crack
Three of a kind is set up as three of a kind, such as a 5 of diamonds, a 5 of clubs and a 5 of spades. The crack is worth more than two pairs;
Straight (or Straight)
A straight is five cards in a row with more than one different suit, for example a 5 of clubs, a 6 of diamonds, a 7 of clubs, an 8 of spades, and a 9 of hearts.
Full house
This is a hand made up of a set and a pair, for example 3x 10 and 2x7, regardless of suit. The probability of getting a Full House is only 2.6%. Square (or Four of a kind): Four cards of equal value and different suits form a square, and it is the second strongest hand in all poker. The probability of getting a court is only 0.168%.
Straight flush
This is the strongest game in poker.
